With the very elaborate and fanciful logo we designed for ProMotion it was essential to keep everything else as clean and neat as possible. For one thing, the contrast of the minimalistic layouts gives more punch to the dramatic flair of the logo and for another it grounds the playful logo in a very professional context which is important in this case because it means the difference between the corporate identity being perceived as unique and cutting edge or being seen as just plain silly.
